Göcek Sea School RYA Training Centre
Sailing in the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Fethiye or catching the zephyrs in your sails, which gust through Gocek’s Twelve Islands, yachting in Turkey is the experience of a lifetime. Gocek Sailing School is based in Turkey’s most popular region for sailing, and in the most perfect location for learning to sail or perfecting your sailing skills.
Who We Are
Since 1996, when Gocek Sailing School started the first official RYA courses in Turkey, this well-respected school has been organising courses at all levels; from Competent Crew, through to Day Skipper, Coastal and Offshore Yacht Master. We also run our own independent courses for those without sailing experience to prepare for a flotilla holiday, for which this region is so famous.
Gocek Sailing School is also an examination centre for the United Nations' ICC (International Certificate of Competence).
All Göcek Sailing School’s English speaking RYA instructors are qualified to the highest level, and with many years of sailing experience between them, there is no aspect of sailing with which they are not thoroughly competent.
Outline
All courses include a minimum of four hours night sailing, which for many students is the high point of the week. Courses, except START YACHTING, are for five days and most courses bring students together at different levels of training. All courses and examinations are conducted in English.
All levels of RYA sailing courses are taught and some of our students end up becoming professional sailors. Others buy their own boat, which they keep it in this sailing paradise.
A sailing course at Gocek Sailing School may change your life!
